On the energy beam ability when you turn it on to light blocks on fire it should be able to light nether portals. Just personally think that would be cool. Along with other things, like netherrack with the fact that if it catches on fire it won't go out on it's own it should also affect it. I just think it would be cool.

just another idea here, maybe you could even light furnance's with it? that may be a bit much but would be awesome to see ngl.
